Definition

Agency is the inherent capacity of every person to choose.

Plain-language meaning

Agency means each person must ultimately choose. A Father can teach, guide, correct, invite, and model, but he cannot choose for his child.

What it is not

• Not the absence of guidance
• Not a guarantee of wise choices
• Not something the platform can replace

Why it matters

Agency is the foundation of genuine formation. Character cannot be imposed; it is formed through repeated choices.
